divine casual is timeless fashion combined with elegant embroidery;
and unique "textile-tactile art".
Seraina Jacqueline creates and designs all her embroideries from scratch, using her
own drawings and a variety of techniques that she has she developed over the years.
She also translates her customer's ideas into beautiful logos and embroideries.
Seraina Jacqueline was born in Switzerland. Her upbringing was highly influenced by her artist family that originates from the Swiss Alps, with many generations in the fine arts. After graduating in theater arts from the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, she moved to Los Angeles and worked as an actress in film and television.
In 2003, Seraina acquired extensive knowledge and training in embroidery design techniques, especially machine embroidery.
In 2006 she won a prestigious award for her original design in the fashion category for excellence in unique design and technical ability, in the international annual embroidery competition “Stitch-Off”, by Stitches Magazine, USA.
She founded “divine casual” and created a line of uniquely designed and embroidered garments.
“divine casual” has been represented in more than 20 stores from California to New York.
Seraina began creating her “textile-tactile art” in 2015; framed art work, using her own techniques in hand designing machine embroidery and incorporating mixed media such as applique techniques, fabrics, painting and sewing. She developed her own unique style, “textile-tactile embroidery art”.
She has been making designs on commissions for high-end boutiques as well as private clients since 2015.
Seraina Jacqueline is married to the painter/ artist Victor A. Schiro and lives with her family near Basel and works in her studio in Liestal, Switzerland.

"divine casual" est une mode intemporelle combinee avec une broderie elegante et aussi les oeuvres originales "d'Art textile tactile". Tous les designs sont uniquement crees par l'artiste:
Seraina Jacqueline, nationalité Suisse. Son éducation artistique a été fortement influencée par sa famille nombreuse en artistes à travers plusieurs générations dans les Alpes suisses. Après avoir achevé une formation d'actrice de théâtre et film au Mozarteum à Salzbourg en Autriche, elle a déménagé à Los Angeles, USA, où elle travaillait comme actrice dans diverses séries télévisées et films.
En 2003 elle a commencé à élaborer son travail en tant que créatrice en broderie, après avoir étudié de nombreuses années ce métier et ses techniques.
En 2006, elle a remporté un prix au concours international dans la catégorie mode "Stitch-Off", en broderie et compétences artistiques et techniques. “20th International embroidery competition by Stitches Magazine, professional embroidery magazine, USA”
Elle a fondé en 2006 "divine casual" et créé sa propre ligne de nombreux designs en broderie contemporaine à la machine. Sa ligne de vêtements, portant des broderies qu'elle a conçu pour chaque pièce, s'était fait représenter, exposition et vente, dans plus de 20 boutiques de la Californie à New York aux États-Unis. Depuis 2015, elle crée parallèlement des œuvres d'art en élargissant les possibilités des techniques de la broderie contemporaine qu'elle expérimente et invente ses propres techniques adéquates . Il s'agit des techniques mixtes; la broderie, des combinaisons de divers matériaux, des textiles, de la couture et de la peinture et en aidant la couture à la main. Elle appelle ses oeuvres d’art: “l’art textile-tactile”.
De 2015 à 2023, elle travaille sur commande pour plusieurs boutiques et magasins de vêtements ainsi que pour des clients privés.
Mariée au peintre Victor A. Schiro, la famille vit depuis 2021 dans un petit village en Alsace, en France et elle travaille également dans son atelier à Liestal en Suisse.
